The sequel is set to take place on Isla Mujeres in Quintana Roo, Mexico, with tickets going for $1,400 and up to $1.1m. When speaking about the highest-priced package, McFarland has said: “You will be on a boat, have the luxury yachts that we partner with who will be docked and parked outside the island.”
A minimum of $500,000 will go towards the money still owed by McFarland, estimated to be close to $26m.
Amazing to me that anybody would spend real money on anything this fraudster promotes.
i wonder if the guy that was going to give a BJ to an investor is part of this one too.
I bet nearly all the million dollar tickets will be given to infuencers to promote the event. They don’t actually have any value.
TF, this guy is still getting millions of views on TikTok and Twitter.
Can we just burn engagement-driven social media? Please?
Damn…
Was hoping to watch the Internet Historian video on this one too…
Looks like this time they didn’t have that guy willing to suck dick for water LOL
I love that documentary.
After
“Hey, didn’t you want this water?”
Oh, right…yeah, water.
Let me guess…everyone already bought their tickets?
Honestly I hope so. Imagine those tickets going up, you thinking “oh fyre festival, what’s that? That sounds fun” then looking it up, then buying tickets.
Anyone that wants to go be around that deserves to get got. Zero sympathy.
At this point, I expect most tickets holder are influencers trying to cash in on a reaction video.
Even better.
Who could have possibly predicted this. I’m shocked.
I honestly had to look up what Fyre festvial is. Never heard of it, but
Fyre Festival was a fraudulent luxury music festival organized by American businessman Billy McFarland and American rapper Ja Rule. It was originally created to promote the company’s Fyre app for booking music talent.
Sounds like a real loss, that.
In short, it was one of the most spectacular disasters in the history of music festivals. The advertising showed that even the cheapest tickets would get some fancy rooms. Sold out quickly, but all the money was nowhere near enough to even pay for the stage + performers. The island didn’t have housing and they “improvised” some tents for the attendees (they used relief tents like those you see in displaced populations). No food, no water, no bathrooms.
So now there’s supposedly a second festival, of the same name, and am I getting this right, organized by the same dude who was already convicted? And Mexico is saying they have no knowledge of any such event?
I guess they bet on people being idiots - falling for it a second time - and it seems they were right.
Wasn’t Fyre Festival 2 just the MrBeast Experience?
