The results of Foote’s simple experiments were confirmed through hundreds of tests by scientists in the US and Europe. It happened more than a century ago.

    Fourier made similar discoveries a few decades before - at least in terms of co2’s climate warming potential.

    But yeah, women have been written out of the history of scientific discovery so Eunice Foote should be recognised. Joseph Tyndall also made similar discoveries at the same time. People do independently arrive at the same conclusions.
