    The planet is on fire and … the greatest mind and resources are focused on conquering hair loss and prolong erections … sorry, I meant developing LLMs so people can pretend they are talking to god.

    I feel like history is not going to look kindly at the beginning of the 21st century. It’s worth pointing out that in the beginning of the 20th century people in developed economies also thought they were entering a new phase of magical technology (telegram, steam ships, growth in literacy) and we saw how that played out with brutal revolutions (caused by oligarchs of the time) and WW1/WW2.

    There is a going to be reckoning from all this. Mark my words.
