Its imo the difference between being a code junkie and a senior dev/architect :/
The real deal y0
Its imo the difference between being a code junkie and a senior dev/architect :/
The benelux media tweakers.net has tested the failing ssd on linux, and yes it did fail there too. They were saying temperature might have been a factor since in windows the temperatures were higher than linux, but something was off ye.
If this is a case of prerelease firmware being shipped and killing it under load because of temps, thats baaaddd.
Reworded my sentence, sorry
Linux kernel dropped i368, i468 and a few i568 architectures, and i redid some investigations. I was wrong sorry. I thought pendium d was a cpu line after the pentium 4 line, and that was the turning point, but its the original pentium line that gets ditched. My mistake ^^
With linux ditching 32bit, it was enviable things like this are to follow
Im guessing though. I remember seeing it on 4chan as a teenager so thats between 2006 and 2010 or aomething :p
In 2008? More than you’d think.
It is not, its been a thing since circa 2008
The limitations isnt in the lpddr5x ram, but in the sodimm interface.
Iirc this was due to the design of the chip. Framework said the bandwidth needed for the strix halo is waaaaaaayyyyy faster than the bandwidth of the sodimms that laptops have.
Hence they made the desktop, only thing they could think of doing with those classes of apu’s
They made a new webcam , but im not sure if they shipped recent models of the 16 with the new webcam or if you have to buy the new module :/
The yoink is not needed. We have a policy to get a new laptop every 4 years. After that the laptop is all ours once formatted on site ( to make sure no company or customer details get leaked ). This is how my brother got my old dell xps, which he really needed for his education
Edit: apparently they are working on it, same with a case for the gpu to convert it into a e-gpu
Oh i know, and i agree. Im in talks with my boss to maybe upgrade the mainboard pre-maturely to the latest. Im using the lower costs as an argument haha
The other laptops arent finished yet. Framework is super expensive , even compared to other gaming laptops.
I think its worth it, but thats not the opinion of a lot of casual people.
And had i not gotten one via my job, i would not have gotten a framework 16 because of the price
Ye, this is just what the 90’s were like haha
* in the usa
Last i checked europe was pretty close to msrp, which is weird because its usually a lot more expensive for us than it is for the usa. Just checked, rx 9700 xt msrp was around 670 euro (including tax). They are now for sale for 699-717 euro, including what usa calls sales tax.
I call that as close to msrp that youre ever going to get on a product.
To add to this, this is how llm sessions ‘get around’ the experience issue: with every query/command/whatever the whole context and passed conversation is sent to it to be reprocessed. This is why in long sessions it takes longer and longer to generate a new response and why it will forget everything it ‘learned’ from your session when starting a new one
Same. I agree that people are too stupid to know what apps they should use. But that also includes those using some of apples closed down, limited apps and features haha
And diablo 1 has devilution ( or whatever the name was ), which is cross platform and works fiiiine
Imo there is a difference between script.kiddie and coding junkie
