Btw Recettear is getting a HD remaster in 2025.
I liked it until the timed missions kicked in. It was a free game on EGS years ago.
all those humble bundle titles.
Starfield was maybe one of the last ”modern games” I could run. 1080p and 30fps locked because It couldn’t handle steady 40fps. I havent bought any games made in 2024 or 2025. I mostly just buy older games that are now available -90% or something. My latest purchase was a remaster ed. for a 20 year old game which price was now all time low.
That is easier and easier after every sale.
RDR2 pc release was 13 months later and GTA5 pc release 17 months later. I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes at least 2 years with GTA6.
I just checked one of my dvd shelf and two WB movies that should be in excellent condition were little bit sticky from both sides. This feels like a flashback to when Arturia’s hardware keys and knobs started to ”melt” after few years. Companies use cheapest plastics possible.
It’s going to be fun to watch 20 same looking NPCs with same looking clothes living their daily lives with schedules, again.
I think their only good modern game is Anno 1800 and that is soon a 5 year old game.
I’m not sad. Ubi doesn’t respect it’s customers anymore. Let them sink.
Nice. For example Baseball 21 is free. I see that their older games used to be on Steam.
I forgot to mention ”Motorsport Manager” as it’s not a spreadsheet manager. I loved the game. I also tried F1 Manager on Gamepass but I didn’t like it. EGS is giving F1 Manager 24 for free starting tomorrow. Let’s see is the final game of the franchise any better.
Haemimont Games: ”So we have some good ideas for JA4”
Paradox: ”JA4? no no no, you’ll start making JA3 DLCs”
In the default mode you have to beat your enemy and only way to do it, is to build new towns, upgrade soldiers and get territories asap. If you are too slow, good luck at fighting multiple armies with your ”pesant squad”. So in a way you are racing against the clock and you don’t have much time to admire what you built. But there is a game mode where you can just relax. But that just sounds content cut off from a game that doesnt have much content so I even didn’t try it.
Best of 24? what, it’s fun about 10-15hrs then you see that there is no more content. Combat is super basic and also the default game mode is just you racing against the clock. If you don’t build and get new lands fast enough, you have no chance beating the enemy. 40 bucks is too much for this early access title. It has potential though, but it’s still raw.
like steam controllers back in the day when they were always top 10 in those ”top seller” lists.
Steamdeck top 4. Yeah right Valve.
I might get Sims 2 just for nostalgia if the pricing is not too high. These are old af games and not even remastered so they shouldnt cost too much, right EA? right?
all they needed to do is to make the app making/launching easier and more profitable to the devs and I think the OS would be still alive. They pulled the plug too fast.
If it runs on Android. Hell no.
