  • Well yeah you forced the game breaking part by refusing to accept what had happened. I simply wouldnt have done that, but I have been frustrated before and tried to force things so I get it.

Honestly if you hadn’t made a choice that somewhat led to that situation I’d be more likely to agree with you. Since its a game, no harm no foul, and again quirky things happening in RPGs is nearly always a good thing for me.

A giant in skyrim hitting me with a club and sending me a quarter mile into the air surely could be seen as a bug, but many think of that fondly instead. Thats the point I’m making. I’m sorry you had a rough time with that playthrough though.

  • The trolley argument was always nonsense with regards to the presidential election.

In a hypothetical trolley problem, you will know the consequences of each choice. That is not something anyone is able to say when it comes to which president will cause most harm. They clearly wanted to harm different people, but noone will know which one would have hurt the most of those people.

So the trolley problem changed to one track with one set of victims, and another with a different set of victims, and people would argue back and forth that each other got the set of victims wrong.

Arguing over nothing in my opinion, and I did it myself.

As for this assassination, its as simple as feeling good when your enemy is hurt/loses/dies/fails. Its a reaction and is entirely reasonable for it to happen. I do think though, that the best thing that could have happened was that the CEO realized his mistakes and spent his time and money thereafter working vigorously to fix them.

He had amassed quite a lot of money and power, it could have been used for a tremendous amount of good if he had the will to do it suddenly.

  • Yes, we all agree its a bug. I’m specifically saying for me its quirky, and I actually like when strange things happen in rpg games. See how its become one of the playthroughs you remember most?

Same thing could happen to me and yet I’d remember it fondly as the weird playthrough where I threatened a child and was permanently hostile to any grove guards.

Game breaking means you can’t continue at all. It didnt derail your character because apparently your character is one to threaten children, and you could keep playing despite what happened.

  • Okay so its a big deal for you, I get it. If it happened to me I’d continue my game though, its hardly game breaking. I get that it broke your feelings but the grove has very little to do with the rest of the game. I’d have long forgotten about it by act 2, and even if I did care so much you get 25 autosaves and quicksaves.

I’m not going to hold it against Larian for leaving this in, if its in the current build. They already have gone far above any expectations, and yet here you still are complaining that Larian is ridiculous to allow this bug.
