I don’t mind watching movies, but it’s really hard for me to DECIDE to watch a movie.

If someone asks if I want to watch a movie, the time commitment makes me say no (unless it’s something I’ve REALLY wanted to see), but I’ll happily agree to watch a TV show and still end up watching 3 hours or more worth of episodes.

I usually associate stocking stuffers to under $5 or even $10.

But it could also mean, “small enough to get lost under the tree” so you put it in the stocking so it isn’t misplaced in all the wrapping paper and boxes.

I noticed that too. And I think it has to do with WW2. Hitler and his allies were the bad guys, and it seems there was a period going into and after the war where didn’t pay much attention to any other criminals. During this time we saw the birth of Super heroes, and we rallied around the good guys.

I was thinking about that as I was typing them up. It’s really hard to draw a line on how criminal they are, or fame vs infamy, etc.

Nobody else can understand exactly how you feel, or would feel in that situation. There are many who defend family no matter what, but I recommend cutting people from your life who make you miserable.

It’s very likely that you will be both sad and happy about it. Or you might not feel anything at all. There’s no need to feel guilty about how you feel. You’ve earned those feelings.

I would hope you would pick someone you know well enough to feel comfortable with them taking over.
