kinetic and non-kinetic methods
??? What that means??
kinetic is shooting guns or throwing things like nets.
non-kinetic is jamming control signals (or maybe even GPS?) or threatening the operator, so he lands it.
maybe they can train them to eat the landlord 😆
hyprland is okayish. it has no window titles you can use to control it one handed with a pointing device, which is very backwards. a top feature is a layer that goes in front of everything. the customization options aren’t that many. it tries to be minimalistic but with effects.
Gnome themes and extensions have more customization options, but it’s a huge mess. it offers tiling with an extension called Forge. This would also be an alternative.
Wayfire is also cool, but hard to set up. For some users, after installing, it’s just an empty desktop without even a pointer. It needs utility apps and proper config.

31·2 months agoHDR is not for the type, but for tge resolution: Transitioning from one color to another over 3000 pixels will often result in very visible steps where each region of one color ends and the next begins. HDR can reduce these steps significantly. You need HDR less, if you have only 1080p, regarless if OLED, LCD or whatever. But if you have 4K and the display fills a lot of your field of view (meaning it’s big or you’re close) it can become super annoying without HDR. Of course, some people don’t mind either way. Maybe check it by visiting a store and getting close to the displays. Ask them to switch HDR off and on.

only thing that helps is more frequent backups. new backup before you wipe or change anything.

I think earnings and share price tanked because of US cuts tho. The timing matches better. But they seemed ignorant of that or want to distract. CEOs are easily replaced and do little of value. It’s the workers and middle managers who pull the load.
they still get a bit of sun in winters. however, off shore wind parks and energy trading with neighbours should easily fill the gap
