Yeah, it’s been hit and miss with downloading from the Kindle. I mostly get books from the library and strip the DRM from there. I figure it’s a win-win, because the library gets a record of the checkout, but then I get to read it at my leisure while the next person gets to read it.

This currently works, but I don’t know if it will continue working forever - probably not too much longer after this announcement.
The “old Kindle PC app” might keep working in the future, but my guess is that it’s going to be done soon as well.
edit: One thing I ran into was after installing the kindle app and turning off the auto-update, it still updates. So keep the installer handy and just reinstall it as needed.

Both CarMax and Carvana offer a one week refund policy, and a post sale warranty. The warranty doesn’t cover everything, but they won’t be selling a car they expect will immediately fall apart, cause they’d have to eat that problem.
I assume if they end up with a piece of crap, they’ll sell the car to an auction or scrapyard to recoup what they can.

The image shows a solution being moved from a hot side to a cold side, but instead of using pressure to store and release heat, you use a chemical reaction.
Was hoping this would not require moving parts, but it might be better that it does, because you can move the heat further with high efficiency this way. Maybe even a better way to use geothermal energy to move heat.

I do like the idea of adding the “this product replaces X, Y, or Z” in the info card without needing to click on it.
It’s a tough balance, you don’t want a whole page for each one. Maybe if there was a clear list of tags so it’s easier to understand even what category they’re talking about?

I really don’t know what this product category even is. Is it for web layout? Is it a drawing program? Is it for CAD?
Love the list, but scrolling through, the one liners don’t mean much for a lot of these.
The descriptions are just too short and vague to even understand what a lot of them actually do.
I went from a Creality printer to a Prusa Mk4s on the last black friday sale. What sold me was that as they make new machines, you can just buy a kit to upgrade to the next version, instead of needing to buy a whole new printer. They’re also based in the EU, so even if they wanted to, they couldn’t do anything too bad in regards to privacy.
Doesn’t matter tho, cause I won’t turn on the cloud printing stuff, since I don’t see any benefit. Everything can be done exactly the same way without requiring external services.
Just sounds like they’re saying the “slippery slope” is false, but everything else stated was true.
3d party accessories are being disabled, and you can only use network connectivity if you connect to the cloud. They’ll have a solution for using Orca Slicer, but it still needs to phone home to work.
Glad I stayed away from Bambu and went with a printer that doesn’t need anything outside my network to use all the features I paid for.
I don’t HAVE to play the game. If they don’t price it in a way that I’ll buy it, then I just won’t buy it.
I’ve never bought a lot of games, heck I don’t buy MOST games. I buy games that I’m interested in, when they’re priced in a way that seems reasonable to me. There’s plenty of companies (and individuals) out there who are selling me what I want, for the price I would pay for them.
They also typo’d 16 “MB” of ram for the recommended specs for Windows.
