Never heard of this game until now and looked at the trailer on Steam. It looks like a modern version of The Sims minus building houses. Everyone liked The Sims so I imagine this selling well too.
I’m happy with Kagi. I feel like it is equal to Google in it’s prime.
This is the information I had to specify when I connected from Linux and Android:
Security: WPA2 Enterprise/802.1xEAP Encryption/EAP: PEAP EAP Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPv2 CA certificate: <domain>
That is in addition to a username and password I had to create via the university’s website. On Windows, username and password sufficient.
I think the difference is that with open source you won’t lose money if the users leave. If you have creating a software that is not selling because it is missing a feature, you are incentivised to implement it.
On windows, I only had to enter username and password.
That is probably a not too uncommon use case. My patents-in-law got a old computer from me, their son installed Linux mint on it and I helped them with adobe/epub. They browse the web and that’s it.
I had this issue, using pop. It just would not connect without specifying some parameters (I can’t remember which, domain or something and a few others). I had the same problem on Android, with the same solution.
If you want to try it out on your device for cheep, install Linux on an USB and boot from that.
I had a situation where I needed Linux and windows installed. I just used two different HDDs instead, I’ve read too many angry posts about their boot- something being messed up and not recoverable.
With the headline: Interesting, I should read the article.
With the headline corrected: Nothing to see here, move along.
A new web browser engine that is not Google or Mozilla (like Servo) and a browser using this new engine.
TL;DR: Author should stop promoting the book. Publisher can continue promoting the book.
Their GitHub is active. I like to check in once or twice a year to see if there is anything new.
At that point you may as well have used the search engine in the first place.
I was going to respond to this but I think you did so yourself:
I have asked searchy type questions and got some interesting links back which I probably wouldn’t have found on a normal web search with the terms I was using
I think they work as supplements and not replacements. As any tool, they have their use and (for me) can enhance my searching. But I would not replace it with only LLM. (Altough I have never had any great luck with ChatGPT and links, they never work - as in ChatGPT give me an anchor element without any link. It’s better at providing me search terms and concepts to look up for what I need.)
How do you know that OP does not have a master in russian politics? Don’t assume about other people who you know nothing about.
Your reply is not even on topic. Instead of answering what you would do, or just generally talk about the topic, you verbally assault OP.
Maybe I should try that. It looks like such a nice series of games but I don’t have time for the grind. I just want to nuke everything and then go to bed.
So no download from their website?
It was installed on my phone, no notice at all about it.
Anyone know where these files where originally posted?
