First handwired design/build
I designed this little desk-mounted macropad last week and finally got around to wiring it up yesterday. It was a fun little project but I’m not great at soldering so the wiring was a bit challenging. Really happy with how it turned out, though!
Specs:
- Raspberry Pi Pico MCU
- Gateron Oil Kings
- Drop Dasher
your little friend could use a shave.
You’re looking at a nude egg.
It’s got a bush what the hell?
What will you be using just 4-9 for if you dont mind my asking? Just a fun project?
Right now 7, 8, and 9 are mute, volume down, volume up. 4 and 5 toggle my mic and webcam in Zoom, 6 needs to be mapped to something still, and Return definitely does not toggle a mouse jiggler.

nice, is the frame 3d printed?
It is!
nice job with the finish. i have a trained eye and it threw me off a little bit.
Very clean 👌 Bambu?
Yep! P1P
Almost any modern printer can print that clean now. Bambu upped the game, but everyone caught up.
How does that not hurt your wrist??
Nah, I only use it for occasional things like toggling my mic and webcam in Zoom and adjusting volume. And then I have a macro that turns off my computer.
