you need a larger panel with more space to fill in the long pauses for the Shatner comma
Plan for when I’m taken hostage by terrorist group / state actor:
- As. Soon. As. I’m. Taken. Start. Talking. Like. Shatner!
- When the hostage video comes out with me spouting whatever script they gave me, the world cracks up laughing.
Some of the Shatner Commas should be exclamation points.
Youuuuu know, bob, sue, ^and Greg^, they cammmmmme, ^to my house^
The Peston comma
I feel like with Walken it would be more like:
You know! Bob Sue and, Greg! They? Came to my house!?
I don’t give a fuck about an Oxford Comma
It gives a way to distinguish between “Sue, and Greg” (two independent people), and “Sue and Greg” (a couple).
I actually do like the Oxford Comma a lot, but there is a Vampire Weekend song like what I quoted above.
