Progress is poorly defined.

What some people call progress, others call regression.

The answer is honesty, slow allows checks and political movements to build consensus and address the biggest issues

It’s the toughest problem for this very reason but thats why freedom of competition is critical here. We can allow systems to self correct through incentives and protections and thats exactly what most western democracies are doing!

Diversity has been hijacked as a ideological word but its literally the best and most sustainable long term strategy even in rigid markets like investment (I.e. hedging, index funds etc). So diversifying power, despite blocking, is really powerful despite what current autocrat wannabes want us to believe.

Laws don’t mean shit to the person who wipes their arse with the rulebook.

Difficulty is hard to measure - I’d say about yay much, but not a lot more.
