This reminds me of a German kids game by the name of “Poor black cat”: The participants sit in a circle. One participant is the “poor black cat” and accordingly pretends to be a cat. They chose one other participant and that one has to pet the “cat” while calling them a “poor black cat”. If the “cat” makes the participant laugh, they lost and have to play the role of the cat for the next turn.
So it’s goes in a similar direction of what OP is suggesting, but it involves catgirls.

This is a cult recruitment tactic called love-bombing. A weird group tried this on me, but it didn’t work. I kinda liked it though so I regularly go back for more. They don’t serve much food though, and the farm work leaves me exhausted every day.
Me and my family link arms and do this ironically to people, just to see if they get the joke. Usually they don’t and we have to add a new bed to my room. Eh, one day they’ll get it.
