This has to be the fourth of so time that I’ve accidentally unsubscribed from a comm by swiping on the sub list on accident, and I cannot for the life of me find a way to disable the feature. As someone who goes specifically to comms rather than browsing by feed, maybe I run into this more than the average user, but it is annoying that disabling all gestures doesn’t even disable all swipe features, especially something so consequential. A confirmation popup would be much appreciated.

On Android with my default feed as “list.” Like I said, I do not browse by “all,” “subscribed,” or “local.” I go to a community sorted by new to catch up on every single post there. I don’t enjoy missing posts or scrolling indefinitely, so I make sure to see everything in the specific places I frequent.

I don’t see ‘list’ as an option anywhere.

Looking at this community, sorted by ‘new’, I cannot unsubscribe by swiping.

Possibly I am not understanding what you are saying.

To be clear, I use Android, I always sort by New, I cannot unsubscribe without first tapping on the community name.

It’s under general>other>default feed. I don’t think that’s what’s causing it, but it does mean I see the list of subscribed communities as soon as I open the app, which I otherwise prefer. Swiping a community to the left unsubs from it, no other action required.

I see what you mean now. It would be good to have something like a ‘Lock Subscribed’ toggle at the top of the list.
