Yeah, we prefer real news.
Sports coverage might as well be celebrity gossip for as much relevance it has when the world is going to shit.
Yes, in my drawer of miscellaneous tiny things, next to pens, tiny screwdrivers, and a few old microsd cards.
I mean, sure, if we’re pretending you can’t abandon accounts at will and make new ones elsewhere in the lemmy…verse.
The whole idea of “who” is kinda pointless.
Maybe I am the real Vanilla Puddinfudge. Maybe I’m not. What would it mean either way?
the day that the US decides to go green…
pfff
Nah, my cousins are normies. Every time I’m at their place and the TV is on, you almost can’t tell if the ads get more play than the content they actually wanted to see. Their TV is treated like an old FM radio where ads are just a part of it. They complain, but they’ll never actually do anything about it.
I disabled and removed Ubuntu’s caddy before using xcaddy, then remade caddy.service and wrote up a small script to rebuild and update it when I need. I may automate it down the line.
I don’t really care where users are from, and I think it causes fractures and fragmentation across lemmy.
In a void without enemies, we make our own, it seems.
You have done a good deed this day. Thank you very much!
Alright, lol, I’ll be the guy
Hey OP, ever heard of Linux?
1 in 10 is still a lot of people. That’s like every redhead you know territory.
It’s the smartwatch bullshit all over again.
1 in 10 have one
9 in 10 don’t care and never did

Conservatives of Reddit: “Dumbass question no one will truthfully answer.”
If chrome variants were my only method of navigating the web, I’d cut ties with the internet out of spite.
When you quit talking to potential customers and go right for the unhinged investors.
Pcgamer: Steam/Valve news? I got you! opens tf2 reaction image folder for the thumbnail.
It runs deeper than that. You can walk back the why’s pretty easy to identify anyone’s motivation, whether it be personal interest, bias, money, glory, racism, misandry, greed, insecurity, etc.
No one is buying rims for their car for no reason. No one is buying a firearm for no reason. No one donates to a food bank for no reason, that sort of thing, runs for president, that sort of reasoning.
Ai is backed by the motive of a for-profit company, and unless you’re taking that grain of salt, you’re likely allowing yourself to be manipulated.
Valid reason.
However,…Virtual Machine?
I’d rather not break down a human being to the same level of social benefit as an appliance.
Perception is one thing, but the idea that these things can manipulate and misguide people who are fully invested in whatever process they have, irks me.
I’ve been on nihilism hill. It sucks. I think people, and living things garner more genuine stimulation than a bowl full of matter or however you want to boil us down.
Oh, people can be bad, too. There’s no doubting that, but people have identifiable motives. What does an Ai “want?”
whatever it’s told to.
I’m beyond the idea that there could or would be any worldwide movement against Ai, or much of anything if we’re comparing healthcare, welfare and education reform. People are tuned out and numb.
