Before using docker u need learn how to use it,it would be problem no matter what os if u don’t know how to use this technology.Bottles yes or portproton, storage scan u can use gnome disk storage analyzer

Basically all things works out of box ,I just installed rog control center to have control of fan,tdp limit, charging limit and supergfx cachy is having all this in the repo,be aware this laptop as any gaming laptop is hot,so for daily basic things even playing in cyberpunk I put power in powersave and setup custom fan curve in rog control center to make it less heating ,performance was enough for me in cyberpunk even with limited power save mode. While searching for laptop be aware there are two modifications of this laptop with amd CPU which have integrated video and without ,it very useful to have integrated to GPU because it works then about 4-5 hours.I have model with amd ryzen 7 7735hs which have integrated graphics. For more questions feel free text to private messages :)

I guess it not much popular solution about taking screenshots in this way… As far as I remember the newest versions of gnome does have this feature in their screenshot utility, anything else not coming in mind
I don’t know exactly what u are talking about steam cause it just sudo pacman -Syu steam and that it .everything else if u have modern nvidia then do sudo pacman -Syu nvidia-dkms if amd setup then u will no need anything else .In the end as for beginner try CachyOS if u the most close experience to vanilla arch .this guys just do some performance tweaks while staying maximum vanilla as possible about arch linux
Idea of this distro different Rpm-ostree mostly not supposed to use at all or used in rare case to install some system driver or etc packages ,everything else .to install software it supposed to use flatpak, appimages and toolbox(I prefer distrobox which possible to install either and work both using podman) to create containers in which will be small copies of OSes ,u can install any u need Debian/arch/Ubuntu/fedora and they would be mutable in container and not touching with binaries libs and etc main system.
Backend of discover doesn’t know about that u did dnf update and think they are pending update in it’s database when y restarting it makes dnf update checks underhood and getting informed that there is no update anymore
Technical if talking they using different backend under hood I mean nemo and dolphin .Dolphin one a bit sucks in my opinion. To make it work better it would better try mount samba share using fstab file
Personally for elderely people I installed mint once and forgot it they using laptops from windows 7 era and they were getting dozens of ads malware so I was to reinstall os almost every half year now this problem gone entirely and yes I am aware very well too about what u are talking about such in my case where I am living nobody gonna ever call for tech support of Microsoft cause they don’t know about that it exist and they will ask someone who they know for help about computer if something not work
