An excellent game, also similar to King’s Field. Another great PS2 Fromsoft RPG is Evergrace. Horrible translation and voice acting, but interesting when you look at it like a precursor to Elden Ring. Lots of similarities.

X-Com - UFO Defense and Terror from the Deep (I remember hacking my demo copy of UFO Defense and bypassing the shareware check. Still my all time favorite strategy game)
