I wonder if there’s a word for when a whole phrase has two opposite meanings without one of the words in it being a contronym (or using sarcasm, etc)
The example that made me think of this is a song lyric:
And she’s dancing like she’s never danced before!
There’s the intended meaning of better than ever… But if I were to dance it would also be like I’ve never danced before.
That’s odd. At my local pool they very definitely are in the water with us more often than not during lessons. How else can they demonstrate techniques, and watch us closely to see what we are doing wrong?
There is one exception I’ve noted - the coaches of swim teams seem to mostly stand at the front or back of the section their team is using. I’m not sure what that’s about, since I’ve never been on a team like that. But I can guess it has to do with seeing everyone at once.
The only part of this that I like after a quick skim is the font, and that’s only because it’s serif. (Although the not changing size thing is also cool)
