Overall, I enjoyed my experience with Starfield. I just wish I didn’t spend half of my time trying to build the optimal bases for trading hubs. Apart from that, everything was good

Just to piggyback off your comment, Roko’s Basilisk is what created the Zizzians, a group of people who drove themselves crazy with these logic puzzle to the point that they started a pseudo-cult and started murdering people a couple of years ago. There’s a couple of episodes of Behind the Bastards featurinf them if anyone wants to know more.
They actually know their history, which you clearly don’t
Agreed. Also, there’s a lot of smaller 3D games that run at 30+, but end up being a bit choppy and tanks the battery life. Nowadays I just play 2D games on my Deck, then I get 3hr of battery life
And make people pay twice for aomething they already paid for? Nah, fuck that double jeopardy bullshit.
Don’t forget that they were one of the main devs raising a shitfit when Steam brokered a deal with Nvidia to allow users to stream their entire Steam library via GeForce Now. They wanted to force players to buy it a second time to stream it. A game they already owned.
They’ve been dead to me ever since that greed-fueled tantrum.
US, $25/month through Visible for unlimited call, text, and data
If it helps, you can 3D print your own hardware nowadays
This needs to be higher up. Enough guys on the internet are going to be creeps that it’s something you need to look out for, but that risk gets even higher when they feel entitled to it by paying you for your time.
There are a couple of breadcrumbs in the post that hint that OP’s boyfriend might be a bit controlling, but nothing concrete. Personally, I wouldn’t feel comfortable dating someone that was actively talking to random guys on the internet for money. And OP’s post makes it seem like she keeps going back and forth on whether or not she’s okay with accepting money…
Not saying the guy is innocent, but OP also seems like a mess that needs to spend time to work on themselves before trying to date
To me business and economics sounds like the more flexible one, but that’s not always a good thing cause being less “specialized” can mean lower value, at least for some job positions…
Depends on what skills you’re leveraging. You mentioned knowing 3 different languages, which might be rare depending on where you live. You could possibly go into organizing imports and exports. I know someone who went into that with a bachelors in business
Then the owners can cash out
Personally, I’m hoping they release a B380. I’d love to put one in my media server for transcoding
We can now make our own Team Fortress 3! With lootboxes blackjack, and bots hookers!
Not a community, but I recommend logicalincrements.com if you’re starting with a build. Pick a budget and it gives 3 different, balanced builds that match that budget. Use that as a starting point and modify from there
Doesn’t most of Element route through Matrix.org?
Petulant counterpoint: SteamOS 3.0 is based on Arch and is a good newbie distro
I like Jerboa because of how similar it is to RIF Is Fun

Asking for low barrier to the largest instances
And what defines a low barrier for entry? I just checked the sign-up process for Lemmy.world, and it’s just email > password > agree to ToS > complete a Recapcha. All on one page. How is that any different to any corporate social media site?
The big hassle for signing up for Lemmy is finding an instance that matches your preferences, but I don’t see how that’s possible to get around. The only thing I can think of is streamlining join-lemmy.org to better direct people to a fitting server.
I know I’m being combatative here, but the thing that bugs me people keep parrotting the same complaints of “there’s too much friction” when that problem has pretty much been fixed. Please focus on the currently existing problems instead
You literally just described the progressive tax system that every developed country has today
