I played it very recently, without any history with the IP. Probably got it in some Humble Bundle or something, cause I don’t actually remember buying it.
Overall I enjoyed the game, agree with your summary about writing, graphics and combat, but it didn’t feel anything great. Good, but not great is my opinion. Personally, felt more like 7 or 7.5/10.

They are machines, they can have any number of issues, but generally speaking, if a game is released on a console (and it works) then it will work for you too. No worrying about configs or system requirements.
No info about “how to make sure game is gonna run”, that is actually one of the reason I switched to console so many years ago.
BTW you don’t have to worry about not being able to play physical games on PS, even if it doesn’t come with optical drive by default, they will always sell the attachment. At least for next 2 or so generations (if not more), too many people with physical games exist.
This is about an old game for PSP, somewhere between 2008-2010. Devs used the escape clause in the contract to leave it during early stage, so the game was never made.
It makes sense what he is saying, I can see it happening in any software company that doesn’t have experience with managing multiple projects at once.
People doesn’t seem happy though, which is also understandable.

I haven’t tried Warlock yet, will give him a try. Racoon is pretty good, though his healing isn’t that great (at least that’s what I felt), great as a secondary healer though.

I have played a few games, and while I am not good at it, it’s still fun to play, specially with character like Jeff, where you can focus on healing instead of kills.

You can dual boot both Windows and Linux, and the reboot to Windows when you want to play games, and reboot to Linux for other stuff.
A bit of work, and extra space needed, but you can easily do that.
