every few months i open lemmy and see a bean meme, and then i know the entire day shall be filled with bean memes, then it’ll go away, until a few months pass again and it’s bean meme day again
Sometimes you just get caught in a bean loop. It could’ve happened a dozen, a hundred times by now. It’s impossible to tell.

Ima say it. I dont inelderstand the owl thing as I didn’t understand the bean thing either. Still won’t send me back to reddit though.
Owls are just cool and mysterious. They’ve been around for over 60 million years, but from them being a very solitary and largely nocturnal type of animal, there is still so much we don’t know about them. There are still around 250 different owl species. They live on every continent except Antarctica. There are so many different shapes, sizes, sounds, colors, etc. Every part of them is specialized and they have many anatomical features we don’t have that would be so alien to us. Even their feathers are different than all other birds.

I do most of the posting, and I’m focused on animal rehab and education rather than meme type things, so it’s a bit different than you may be expecting. It still may not be for everyone, but I think there is a lot of information that would please anyone with an interest in animals or science.
What’s there to understand? They are simply superb!
