I live in an area where I think the worst drivers in the US live. I absolutely hate people who honk as soon as the light turns green. You don’t know what I can see, you don’t know if it is safe to go. Because sometimes it isn’t. I’ve had to learn to still look both ways after the light turns green because almost once a week (and I only drive 2-4 days most weeks) I see someone completely blow the red going 60 in a 45.

I also blame phones for traffic, because it goes the other way too. Why did you miss that green, because 3 people in front of you were on their phones. I usually give a slow 5 count before giving a beep.

But if it is wider it cooks through more. A nice thick patty gives me a nice tasty medium rare burger that soaks the bun with burger juice.

I’m also a bit confused here. My 6th grade biology taught me that you have eggs and sperm and that when they combine, you get an embryo. You don’t fertilize an embryo, you fertilize an egg.

Something that has been bothering me lately. Reasonable people who counter the toxic misinformation leaving the platform only allows the disease to grow and spread. But reality is they weren’t reaching the people that needed the dose of reality anyway. And then I realized that the algorithms have always been the disease, my feeds are my own echo chamber to drive engagement, just as theirs are. I’ve pretty much cut all social networks out. The only way to change minds is honest respectable conversation, and I am not a person to change anyone’s mind.

Been using Onn boxes for years and absolutely love them. They are about as pure android TV as you can get. I would definitely recommend the 50$ pro version over the 20$ original though.

I can actually see some practical use for this. Imagine a textbook for programming or system administration with a built in terminal and feedback loop to walk students through examples and correct mistakes.

I could also see them being manipulated by outside powers so that weapons might mysteriously end up in foreign hands.

They are both ignorant and pliable.

As someone who does own an X1. I haven’t yet tried the other options of slicer or gone deeper down the g-code rabbit hole. I’ve only had it a few months. I bought knowing that this was a possibility but did so because of the simplicity, quality, and not wanting to spend endless hours tweaking.

One oversight I did have was the possibility that this could eventually lead to a cricut type situation of having a subscription model to even use the hardware. This means I will not be upgrading and will be keeping a closer eye on the changes that are made.

But Mexico has 63 more miles of coastline on the Gulf than the USA does.

Metal fans are everything and everyone. There exists no stereotype that any one fan could fully fit.

For the most part, people are accepting of everyone. There are a few people who are less hospitable. Usually kids who have an idea of the culture that is not instep with reality. Typically they learn, one way or another.
