I think it’s a bit much to assume people are not doing significant work or work cannot be done in a terminal just because it might have keyboard shortcut assigned to it.

Do you mean icons? Like icons for applications?

There’s been some loud folks over the years but generally no one cares. 450+ million AirPods have been sold and the experience is arguably MUCH better than wired headphones.
