Chameleons don’t actually change color the way people think they do.
First off, the natural state of a chameleon is green, which blends in to the forest fairly well. Their color change is a mating tactic, and so favors bright and vibrant colors.
A chameleon changing colors isn’t hiding, they’re horny.
Or angry. Or scared, or well, any strong emotion. Basically a chameleon is a living mood ring.
Now, if you want true instant camouflage, that’s an octopus. They can not only change colors, but their own surface texture. In their case, they get the info about what to look like from their numerous suckers alone their legs.
That list is super helpful. So many games to avoid. Although, I was somewhat surprised by the number of Denuvo removed I’ve gotten through Humble.
Wait you turn to attack the protagonist. A nice orderly line for one attack and one counter.
Then there was the guy who straight up dropped his weapon before his turn, but pretended he didn’t.
I’m waiting for that inevitable margin call. Followed by Twitter being repossessed. At that point it will probably be sold off for parts.
That was Rush Limbaugh, may he rot in piss.
And the second they get it, they reinvent IP law, but in an even more restricted form.
A bucket list is usually “a list of things to do before you die” i.e. kick the bucket.
I can see how your use is correct, but it also doesn’t feel right, which is 90% of language.
To my ear, saying that Futurama is simply “on the list” just sounds better.
Another option would be saying that the show is in your backlog.
But, use bucket list enough, and sooner or later that will sound correct. Because that’s also how language works.
I do know that NAFTA is gone. Trump got rid of that one during his first term
There was a replacement deal that Trump has now renegged on.
He called it a great deal at the time… I’ll let actual experts way in on the truth of that.
At the time, the middle east was a bit cooler during the year. So no where near as bad in the summer.
Also, if you build a home properly, it can be self cooling (provided you have even a little bit of a breeze)
Arch as a first distro is an interesting choice.
But likely fr better than my first distro, Slackware.
I had known about the Church of the Subgenius and then heard that there was a Linux distro based on that…
At the time, the wikis were not really up to the task…
These days I run Mint on my writing laptop, and unfortunately am back to Windows on my gaming rig.
But might swap back to Gaurda for gaming…
Hardness isn’t the best thing to have in armor. In fact, extreme hardness means extreme brittleness.
Tensile strength is more desirable in armor. That’s the sort of strength that a string or rope, or Kevlar will have.
Those can stretch a bit before breaking.
Kevlar will stretch a bit when catching a bullet, this does a few things, but importantly it slows the bullet before stopping it.
So this new material will likely show extreme tensile strength rather than hardness.
2009, that’s about the time that smartphones were really taking off.
Chrome on Android and Safari on Apple now make up almost 90% of all internet browsing.
It’s a fun game, and the movement system was not actually that hard to learn.
But the upper level players are all doing animation interrupts to put out crazy combos for much faster movement and attacks.
A beginner will learn these interrupts just by playing an hour or so, but chaining them? That takes skill and dedication beyond the norm.
I do remember winning the occasional match, but it was rare. Overall it was a fun game.
