All I need. All I want. Unfortunately all the states I’ve lived in are authoritarian shitholes where I’m not allowed to drive one.

I can drive a motorcycle. That goes over 200mph. But I can’t own a passenger vehicle that will run traffic speed. For “safety”. More like the makers of our giant piles of overpriced and overly complicated garbage can’t compete.

It’s crazy how much of America’s self-image revolves around notions of “Freedom” when it’s one of the most oppressive places in the developed world.

Even the stuff you do have supposed guaranteed constitutional freedoms for, come with such heavy caveats that they never actually play out that way in practice.

Unfortunately propaganda works. People really think they’re free here. And will get incredibly earth-shatteringly unreasonably fuck-ass mad if you try to pull the wool off their eyes.

I have been a fan of these for years. I’m in the US and there are not many options. I’m also 6’6" so they don’t work for me anyway.

Brazil has a ton of kei trucks! Mainly because they’re very cheap and yet can carry a fuckton of weight. With the price you pay for a RAM 3500 here you can buy 5 Kia Bongos and carry 10x the amount of cargo.

Father use to have a truck that would fall in this category.

Tiny. Diesel. Once drove through water that went over the hood of the car. Had huge holes in the floor you could see the road through.

    Loved it.
