i spent two days tweaking and converting an old mountain bike to an ebike kit, and my mind was quiet the whole time.

i have AuDHD. and it made total sense once i was finished, and took it for a ride.

i finally found my “trains n’ dinosaurs” obsession, its just ebikes instead.

the glee i felt riding that thing around last night made me feel 10 years old again.

i imagine befriending a crow is similar. it quiets the mind and allows you to fully experience the present without the pretext of existence and all its troubles.

I had this. But then I moved. I mean they were magpies, not crows, but still. They came to see me every morning, sat with me while I drank my coffee, eating the putrid mush I made for them that they loved so much. Do they still wait for me? It breaks my heart.

My wife has been trying to befriend a crow all summer. It’s harder than it sounds. Her biggest problem is finding a crow near our house. She’s started bringing peanuts on her walks just in case.

the vancouver crows I see around my work seem to prefer pecans and walnuts. The one I call budgie comes inside and eats with me at lunch.
