In a couple years we’ll be flooded with ai mashups like this. I predict that in ten years the concept of a “YouTuber” will be less of a personality in front of a camera than it is a prompt artist creating custom content based on whatever meme is popular that day. I predict we will see “new” ai generated episodes of every show ever created. You want to see the new episode of F•R•I•E•N•D•S: “Rachel’s Nip Slip”? Click to subscribe- $10.99/mo. You think subscription fatigue is bad now??
We’re already halfway there. Not mashups but my YouTube is littered with low effort ai slop with click-bait titles. I’ve unfortunately come across several where the terrible AI narration doesn’t even come close to pronouncing anything close, pointing out very obvious facts, the images vaguely relate to the content, and usual gets facts wrong.
Give it time. Low effort ai slop is the future we’re all headed for.
Finally, a good use for AI.
