I don’t think the answer is as simple as memes would like to believe. Personally I suspect the issue, in part, has to do with the cost of healthcare in the US.

Much like Republican voters have a need to pretend the GOP is actually helping them, I think holistic medicine rubes and anti-vaxxers have a need to discount the efficacy of unaffordable healthcare. They don’t need to worry about the price being a multiple of their income anymore, because they just now decided every doctor is a quack and a conman.

There is though, there’s a whole scene about poor=dumb and horny vs rich=smart and chaste. It’s very easy to forget since it doesn’t solidly tie in as much as the producers may have hoped

There’s an implied statement in that scene: “if their parents and grandparents were different people, this world would not be in ruins.” Mercifully a lot of viewers interpreted the film as a satirical view of the progression of society in general or humanity overall. But the scene as it is laid out says the wealthy smart people died out and left only the dumb poors to inherit the earth.

I would caution against self hosting email long term. It’s fine for the educational value but there’s a lot of annoying obstacles you can encounter repeatedly even after everything is established.

It is actually the best 1080p DX11 card ever made. And lots of people who bought it are still using it. Nvidia is doing everything they can to entice people to upgrade annually or to at least pay through the nose for the barest future proofing.

I played Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey starting with a NG+ save I downloaded. Had a blast. Plenty of games are fun without shoehorning in a leveling system. In tabletop systems there’s a different context too, usually when you pick a feat or spell it’s in response to a difficulty you faced, whereas in games it’s just grabbing perks.

Literally all they have to do is beat nvidia by one GB of VRAM on any card and people will go nuts. Nvidia is so afraid of making another 1080ti that even their 4090 gets like 2 less frames in Fortnite at 1080p.
